Πριν από 7 χρόνια, η Ξένια Γιαροβάγια, ζωγράφος από τη Ρωσία, ήρθε στο Ρέθυμνο και ζωγράφισε εδώ τον πρώτο της πίνακα με θέμα την Ελλάδα.
Έκτοτε, αφιέρωσε όλη της τη δημιουργικότητα και το έργο στην Ελλάδα. Ζωγράφισε περισσότερους από 700 πίνακες αφιερωμένους στην Ελλάδα και τώρα, μετά από 7 χρόνια, ήρθε ξανά στο Ρέθυμνο. Αυτή τη φορά με καμβά εφτά φορές μεγαλύτερο!
